The Story

FLOUR AND FOLD

After creating three bespoke wedding cakes for her brother-in-law’s wedding in the summer of 2019, Jess was inundated with requests from friends and family for more of her baked creations. And so, Flour & Fold was born.

Jess began her journey in South East London before relocating to Faringdon in early 2020. Now based in Oxfordshire, she is passionate about using locally sourced ingredients to create delicious, high-quality cakes for every occasion. Each cake and biscuit is thoughtfully designed to suit individual requirements, whether it’s a stunning wedding centrepiece, a memorable birthday treat, or something special to share at home.

When the coronavirus pandemic hit, Jess adapted her business by expanding from local deliveries to nationwide shipping, introducing her popular postal brownie boxes. Following a busy wedding season in 2021, she was proud to receive a prestigious Great Taste Award from the Guild of Fine Food for her original triple chocolate brownie.

Since 2022, Jess has focused on specialising in wedding cakes and continues to be a highly sought-after supplier across South and Central England.

Flour and Fold holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate, and is registered with the South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils as a food premises. Flour and Fold holds a 5*  with the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) inspection.
