Weddings

At Flour and Fold, every wedding cake is lovingly designed and created with you in mind, with attention to all the fine details. We customise every cakes according to couples' tastes and design preferences and we strive to produce elegant treats that will no doubt be a focal point at your reception.

We’ll help you through the process to ensure your cake is everything you adore and most importantly enjoy eating on your special day.

We post out taster boxes twice a year, as we appreciate that couples may not live locally even if they are getting married in the area. If you would like to be added onto the list for the next bake, please send us an email. If you are local to Faringdon and would prefer taster cupcakes, these can be arranged anytime.

Portions

A standard wedding cake slice, which is to be served either after the wedding breakfast or with the evening buffet will be 1"x1"x4.5"

Below is a portion guide based on the above measurements:

4": 10 portions

6": 20 portions

7": 30 portions

8": 40 portions

10": 60 portions

A classic combination is 10"+8"+6" which happily feeds 100.

Should you wish to serve your wedding cake as desert, then please contact us for advice on sizes.

 

Price Guide

Our prices are reflective on the premium ingredients and techniques we use, so therefore the below starting prices are for a simple iced decorated cake. Final prices are dependant on size, flavours and any extra decoration, such as stencilling, sugar flowers, macarons, drip, metallic leaf etc.

Naked Cake from £240

Semi Naked Cake from £275

Fully Iced from £300

Delivery and set up is in addition to the cost of the cake. Delivery charges are calculated at the rate of 45p/mile and include the return journey. The set up fee is £25. 

We also have a selection of cake stands and log slices available to hire at £20 (plus deposit)
